Youth Sports + Filmmaking Collide This Summer in Brentwood!

Mark your calendars: August 15, 2025, we're officially launching the Shoot for Greatness Youth Photography and Filmmaking Program — right in the heart of Brentwood at the Brentwood Public Library.

This isn’t just another youth program. It’s a movement that combines the energy of youth sports, the creativity of visual storytelling, and the power of real-world experience behind the lens.

Why We're Launching This Program

Young creators in our community are bursting with talent — they just need the tools, guidance, and platform to shine. That’s exactly what Shoot for Greatness is all about.

We’re giving middle and high school students access to:

• Hands-on camera training (filmmaking + photography)

• Editing & post-production workshops

• On-site sports coverage opportunities

• Team-based projects that simulate real production environments

• Portfolio-building and leadership development

What’s Happening on Launch Day – August 15

The Brentwood Library will transform into a creative media hub. Students and families can:

• Meet the program mentors and instructors

• Explore cameras and equipment

• View student reels and sports highlight films

• Join live creative demos and Q&A sessions

• Learn how to register for fall sessions

We’ll also be premiering the official Shoot for Greatness trailer – produced and edited by our very own students.
